The Garden Route runs along the coastline of around 300km between Mossel Bay and Plettenberg Bay. The region is home to the Garden Route National Park and multiple protected indigenous forests.Travelers will find a wide variety of attractions, from elephant experiences and forest hikes, to sailing on the lagoons and whale-watching.

The 215 m Bloukrans Bridge, located in Tsitsikamma, is the world’s highest bungee jump. The most popular towns along the route is Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, but Mossel Bay is home to the fascinating Bartolomeu Dias Museum complex
